1. Scheduling Appointments:

Initial Appointment: New students typically schedule their first driving lesson after completing a registration process, including any necessary paperwork (e.g., learner's permit).

Online Booking System: Our schools offer online portals where students can book their driving lessons. This system helps avoid scheduling conflicts and ensures that students are aware of available times.

Instructor Availability: The availability of instructors may vary, and students often need to select times based on open slots.

2. Early Cancellations:

Cancellation Policy:

Students are usually required to cancel appointments at least 24 to 48 hours in advance.

Late Cancellations: If a student cancels within a short window, typically less than 24 hours before the appointment, a fee may be charged. This is to compensate for the instructor’s time and prevent last-minute openings from going unused.

No-show Policy: If a student does not show up for a scheduled lesson without prior cancellation, they may be charged a no-show fee or even forfeit the session.

3. Missing Classes:

Makeup Classes: In case a student misses a scheduled class due to illness or an emergency, many driving schools allow rescheduling the lesson for another date, as long as proper notice is given.

Class Absences: Repeated absences or missed lessons might lead to a review of the student’s commitment or eligibility for a refund, depending on the school’s terms and conditions.

Time Limits on Rescheduling: Some schools have a limit on how many times a student can reschedule a lesson or may place deadlines (e.g., within 30 days of the original lesson) for makeup classes.

4. Fees and Payments:

Payment Terms: Many driving schools offer packages for multiple lessons at a discount, but students might be required to pay in full upfront or at the time of each lesson.

Refund Policy: If a student cancels their entire course or part of their lessons, a refund policy is often in place, typically based on how many lessons have been completed and the amount of notice given.

5. Communication:

Reminders: Some driving schools send reminders (via email, text, or app) to students a day before the scheduled lesson. This helps reduce no-shows and last-minute cancellations.

Emergency Contact: If a student is unable to attend or cancel due to an emergency, it is essential to have a clear communication channel (e.g., a phone number or email) to inform the school or instructor promptly.

These policies are important because they help manage the time of instructors and students, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning experience. However, it’s always a good idea for students to check the exact terms and conditions with their driving school before booking any lessons.
